Art by the Sea
Linda and Mike Greer have operated this family gallery for over 20 years, and it shows as soon as you are greeted by them in the Gallery. Their passion for Art and the Artists are at the forefront of everything they do, their dedication and commitment to their Artists and their customers has always been very admirable by me. Mike has become a friend over the years and a mentor in my art career.

Little River Gallery
Some people say that Sheila Brown is synonymous with the Little River gallery, as they are the first gallery that gave me representation all of those years ago. Stuart and Angela gave me my first show back in early 2006, Chasing The Gull, The gallery space is packed full with original paintings, art prints, ceramics, jewelry, books, the list is endless. One needs to walk around the gallery several times in order to see everything on display.
The Captain's Quarters
A unique gallery on the main Street in the French Settlement of Akaroa. Here you will be greeted by owner Kath Macdonald. This is a beautifully curated space, from original paintings, ceramics and handcrafted jewelry . It is a must visit to anyone visiting this French town. Nestled within the back of the building, make sure to visit the Tea Shop , the cakes and decor makes you think you could be in Paris.

Art By The River Gallery

An art Collector himself, turned his dream of having an Art Gallery into a reality in 2024. Art by the River showcases fine art by outstanding Regional and NZ Artists. Magma Gallery
This unique arcade is inspired by the arcades of Melbourne, on the boardwalk side of the shopping area you will find the Magma Gallery. From original paintings to the widest selection of prints. The Magma gallery is also a framing house, which is one of the best in Christchurch. They are there to help you and guide you through selecting the best quality framing materials for all of your needs. I have a wide selection of prints, and a limited selection of Giclee Prints that Magma Gallery has permission to print on my behalf. Each is numbered and side to illustrate where in the edition they are.

The Otago Art Society
The Otago Art Society is continually hosting amazing exhibitions throughout the year. They also have a wonderful gift shop-gallery that is home to original paintings, ceramics, prints and cards. Open throughout the week and weekends, run by volunteers, all very passionate about Art and what it means to a community.
Xgaleri
An art space hostel by myself after the closure of our gallery that Max and I ran for several years in the heart of Christchurch. Although Max is now living in Melbourne, Xgaleri is still a platform where one can visit to view both Max's art and my own.
I have my studio at home that I open to anyone that would like to visit. Here you can purchase my paintings, prints, cards, and Brownbear Pottery. Nestled in amongst the trees, my tree house studio was built for me by my husband several years ago. The light is perfect for painting conditions, and the spot invites fantails to visit while having a most deserved cuppa when i have finished painting for the day.
